Philipp is a young student of physical geography at Goethe University of Frankfurt. He was highly motivated and very curious about the challenges provided at FabSpace Darmstadt. So he joined the FabSpace Darmstadt network on 18th April 2017. He was engaged during the Image CLEF 2017 event on estimating population using Sentinel-2 satellite imagery, but he was very close to win the first price (trip to Dublin at Image CLEF 2017 conference). Nevertheless, because of his good results during the event he qualified for the upcoming FabSpace Bootcamp will be held in November 2017. On top of that Philipp’s FabSpace story still going on and he decided to be connected with the FabSpace network. He also wants to join this year’s FabSpace Start-up Week at the end of June 2017. We’re looking forward to hear more from Philipp and wishing him success in the near future.
